Anna's Couples Boudoir Session in Nashville, In Her Own Words
Anna and her husband are both Army flight paramedics who rarely get time together. Here is their Nashville couples boudoir session, told entirely in Anna's words.
Can a couples boudoir session be as meaningful as a solo one? Anna would tell you it can be even more. She and her husband are both flight paramedics for the Army, in their 40s, and they spend far more time apart than together. Their session landed right between his deployment ending and hers starting.
I could write about that day for a week, but Anna already said it better than I could. So this post is her words, straight from the questionnaire she filled out after her session. I only added the headings and fixed a typo or two.
Why we booked a couples boudoir session
My husband and I are both flight paramedics for the Army. We’re in our 40’s and are forced to be apart more than the average military couple. The moments we do spend together are precious and rare.
I heard about Holly through a Facebook ad for a session discount giveaway. Her photography style was unique and I loved the style.
My husband was coming back from deployment and I was getting ready for my own deployment. I wanted an experience we would both remember and some amazing pictures of us we could have together.
What I was nervous about before our Nashville boudoir session
I knew we would have an initial awkward moment in how to pose, but once we got comfortable with the idea, we just ate up the energy.
I was mostly worried about how my body would look after gaining weight.
No offense to Holly, but what made me relax was seeing how sexy I was to my husband. The look in his eyes made me forget about the cellulite.

My advice if you are thinking about it
Boudoir is a wonderful experience to show yourself how amazing you are. I highly recommend it to everyone.
Do it! All those little things you may not be happy with about yourself fade into the background once you see how stunning you really are.
Absolutely! Holly is very down to earth and accommodating. This may be her business but you can tell it’s also her passion.
I’ve done boudoir before, so I knew it would be amazing. Doing it with your partner brings it to a whole new level of confidence. I absolutely adore the memories and the images.
